Electrical Construction

LI Serves the Electrical Construction Market

In 1984 CLIC was introduced to the U.S. Electrical Construction Market. Being a revolutionary departure from the norm in materials and installation technique, CLIC was voted "Best In Show" at several national electrical expositions. NEEC voted CLIC top best product at that time.

Forging ahead, Litchfield Int. joined NEMRA where it galvanized a network of electrical manufacturers agents to develop the electrical market. Over time, CLIC and Litchfield International were accepted by 90% of the national and regional electrical distribution companies as an approved vendor. This was a huge benchmark at that time. Litchfield continues to work with the same electrical distributors today and into the future.

Telecommunications

Litchfield International Serves the Telecommunications Market

Litchfield developed many specifications for CLIC within the telecommunications industry. These included the regional Bell Operating Companies, AT&T, Bell South and others. These specifications expanded to RF systems used and installed my many cities nationwide for metro systems.

One project of international note was the EuroTunnel from England to France. CLIC was used throughout the tunnel for emergency systems.

Due to its isolating properties, CLIC has been the product of choice for municipalities, railroad, tunnel operators, and others needing a superior cable support and spacer system.

Plumbing

Litchfield International Serves the Plumbing Market

CLIC entered the plumbing market with the advent of diameters 2.5-4 inches in both pipe and tubing sizes. Introduced at several ASPE, ASA, ASHRAE, and Plant Engineering Expositions, the company formed a network of independent agents to develop the plumbing market for this country.

Today CLIC is specified by several of the leading plumbing and mechanical engineering firms in the U.S. These specifications have led to piping installations in leading research buildings and laboratories across the country.

Mechanical Piping

Litchfield International Serves the Mechanical Piping Market

Also known as process piping, is a major market for the CLIC line of products. Piping systems ranging from highly engineered thermoplastic resins to stainless steel have to be supported in the facilities that depend on critical performance.

Litchfield Int. maintains relations with most of the high tech manufacturing firms that install ultrapure to acid waste systems. These complex piping systems are used in many fields of manufacturing from pharmaceutical, electronics, semicondutor, ultrapure, and other.

HVAC

LI Serves the HVAC Market

Supermarket construction greatly expanded in the last decade. U.S. and foreign food suppliers built new supermarkets and renovated existing locations. The number of food retail locations totals well over 10,000 units. Supermarket construction represents significant copper tubing installation. The industry embraces CLIC for all types of installations, walk in coolers, misting systems, refrigeration lines, in facility kitchens, beverage service, and other support systems for market infrastructure.

OEM

Litchfield International Serves the OEM Market

For nearly 25 years, CLIC has been a significant part of engineering and design solutions for the OEM market. CLIC has been a successful component in many practical solutions to imaginary theme based products. From water treatment systems, to electronic and semiconductor skids, to reverse osmosis installations, the product has an unparralled track record. By offering designers its design tools, Litchfield Int. moves to find new oem applications in this country and worldwide.

Marine

Litchfield International Serves the Marine Industry

Engineered for hard vibration and corrosive environments, CLIC has been installed in many SuperYachts and Cruise Ships such as QE 11.

Used by the most notable yacht builders in this country and in Europe, CLIC is installed for marine electronics, potable water, sewer systems, and additional cable applications.

On Board Requirement of ISO, CLIC satisfies ship designers and project managers. CLIC again raising the bar in marine infrastructure construction. Specific yacht builders names are withheld for proprietary reasons.

Design/Build/Industrial

Litchfield International Serves the Design/Build/Industrial Market

Industrial contractors and facilities need performance products. From pharmaceutical, to clean room, to electronics, CLIC has outmatched other support and hanger systems.

Non magnetic, non corrosive, non bacterial, CLIC becomes the best choice for a specialty application.

Found in most of the Fortune 500 facilities in this country, CLIC helps build infrastructure.

Waste Treatment

Litchfield International Serves the Waste Treatment Industry

Most people do not think about waste and where it might go and what happens to it. Without proper waste treatment, populations are exposed to bacteria, disease, poor drinking water, tainted crops and infectious animals.

We take much for granted.

As the world population expands, the need for improved waste treatment expands with it. The global market for waste treatment is between 200-300 billion dollars.

Waste treatment is part of every industry. From mining to agriculture, to semiconductor, to housing, waste treatment is a priority in business. Did you know that it takes nearly 600 gallons of water to process one pound of hamburger.

Litchfield International with its CLIC line of supports has been a pioneer in changing conventional hardware to more cost effective and corrosion resistant products. CLIC is the benchmark in waste treatment hardware.

Water Treatment

Litchfield International Serves the Waste Treatment Industry

The world’s demand for acceptable drinking water is growing exponentially. With over one third of the world’s population out of reach of clean water, the need for treatment plants continues to grow. Humanitarian efforts to globalize drinking water standards give rise to the need for plants to produce water for the world’s growing population.

CLIC has been and continues to be the benchmark for supports and hangers in this critical infrastructure market. Specified by leading engineering firms and plant managers, CLIC has been used in this country for over twenty years.

Clean water is both a market and humanitarian cause. To learn more about clean water visit www.cleanwateraction.org.
